Martha Ann Savage was born c.1840 in Guildford, Surrey. She was the seventh child of John Savage and Maria Savage (nee Spicer).
On 6th June 1841 the Census was held. Martha Ann Savage was living in the High Street, Guildford, Surrey, with her parents John Savage and Maria Savage (nee Spicer) and her siblings; John Savage, Harriett Savage, Henry Savage, Eliza Savage and Ellen Savage.
On 30th March 1851 the Census was held. Martha Ann Savage was living in Pitch Place, Surrey, with her parents John Savage and Maria Savage (nee Spicer) and her sister Ammilia Savage.
On 7th April 1861 the Census was held. Martha Ann Savage was living in Perry Hill, Surrey, with her father John Savage, her sister Ammilia Savage and her neice Ellen Dove.
